COLLECTIVE DESIGN GUIDE

Our reason for creating a collective design guide is to create environments that encourage people to dream about their cities and propose solutions to urban problems, and to facilitate collective design.

WHAT IS COLLECTIVE DESIGN?

Collective design is a design-based method with creative and participatory principles and tools that bring different kinds of people and knowledge into the solution processes of public problems.

METHODOLOGY OF THE GUIDE

While categorizing the participatory methods to support the collective design, the output and purpose of the method are taken into consideration. After that project scale, target audience, the place to be used and the duration of the method.

METHODS

Many methods have been developed to support the collective design processes. Bringing people together and making a common decision, designing or strengthening relationships are the common points of these methods.
