What is Participant Monitoring and Evaluation?
Participant Evaluation is a method that facilitates decision-making about the future by monitoring past situations. In this method, the participants first decide what to evaluate, determine the method and data sources, and then prepare a final report by making the evaluation.

How is Participant Monitoring and Evaluation Planned?
STEP 1: Determination of the participants: Although the number of participants varies according to the size and impact of the project, the following roles should be distributed among the participants: -Administrator, -Moderators, -Researchers, -Administrative staff
STEP 2: Having my first public meeting: at the first meeting, the main group should explain the reason and purpose of the participant evaluation to other stakeholders who wish to attend, so that the participant or sponsor is included in the evaluation.
Planning the Evaluation:
STEP 3: Participants should first identify the subject of the assessment and clarify why this assessment was made.
STEP 4: Afterwards, in the brainstorming with the participants, the common topics and questions should be determined.
STEP 5: Determination of the evaluation team: In the first meeting, the evaluation team is determined. Representatives of minority groups, the disadvantaged and other affected groups according to the topic may participate in the evaluation team.
STEP 6: Identifying the subject's indicators: What do we want to know? What information do we need and how can we access this information? Asking questions such as this allows to reach the desired data in a shorter time.
