The subject of the study is to reinforce the belonging of people to the city and the city to people by participating in fair governance in sustainable cities .

The aim of the study is to contribute to the urban design and strengthen the sense of belonging to the living space of the people. It is to intervene in the urban space with verbal and physical actions and to work to create a lasting effect. To make suggestions for the effective use of participation in management and design decisions. It is the participation of the public as much as possible in the decision-making and design processes. Facilitating the participation processes and encouraging participation are among the aims of the study.

Various methods are being developed that are intended to involve people in the design and management of urban space. kainak aims to research these methods and present them as a guide in a way that people can easily understand. kainak aims to create a collective design awareness and plays a facilitating role in this way. It supports democratic participation processes and aims to raise awareness. It acts jointly with stakeholders working on collective consciousness and works for the society to have a say over its city.
